Breede River Valley is known for being the largest fruit and wine producing area in the Western Cape. It falls within a meso-mediterranean climatic zone combined with ancient lime-rich soils. The Cape floral kingdom is the smallest but the richest in biodiversity of all the world’s six floral kingdoms and home to the renowned Chardonnay and revered Shiraz vineyards.
